Back Regulatory Development Lead - Automated Driving#2016418
In this role, you will evaluate regulations and legislation related to automated driving systems (ADS), autonomous vehicles (AV), and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), providing analysis that informs vehicle technologies, system design, safety cases, customer-driven features, and deployment strategies. You will support the rulemaking process through technical input and contribute to corporate strategies that ensure safety and regulatory integrity. Success requires strong communication skills, technical expertise, and the ability to simplify complex issues while collaborating across product planning, engineering, external affairs, compliance, and legal teams. You will build alignment with internal and external stakeholders, balancing technical feasibility with safety and compliance considerations as you represent Stellantis in strategic discussions with government agencies and industry organizations.
Develop industry positions on policies shaping ADS and AV deployment.
Lead technical discussions with regulators, conveying complex technical challenges to policymakers.
Interpret regulatory requirements for internal teams to support design, validation, and launch.
Forecast future requirements to guide new architectures, safety strategies, and customer features.

Our team is composed of skilled and driven professionals who play a critical role in defining the requirements that shape the Stellantis products and the automotive industry.In this role, you will evaluate regulations and legislation related to automated driving systems (ADS), autonomous vehicles (AV), and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), providing analysis that informs vehicle technologies, system design, safety cases, customer-driven features, and deployment strategies. United States Requirements Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Applied Science from an accredited institution8+ years of experience in ADS, AV systems, ADAS development, or related domainsInterest in ADS policy, transportation safety, and the rapidly evolving AV/ADAS landscapeBasic familiarity with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety StandardsSelf-motivated critical thinker with strong communication skills, able to simplify complex topicsPreferred Qualifications:
