Job Title:
Technical Product Specialist Job Description As a Technical Product Specialist, you will serve as the technical authority for environmental and process monitoring products, including emissions monitoring systems and analytical instrumentation. You will support sales efforts through system configuration, product selection, and technical proposal development. Your expertise will be pivotal in interpreting customer specifications and translating requirements into compliant system solutions. You will provide application support, troubleshooting, and system performance validation for both customers and internal teams. Responsibilities Serve as the technical authority for environmental and process monitoring products. Support sales efforts through system configuration, product selection, and technical proposal development. Interpret customer specifications and translate requirements into compliant system solutions. Provide application support, troubleshooting, and system performance validation for customers and internal teams. Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, customer service, field service, and manufacturing partners to ensure accurate system delivery. Support product launches, new technology introductions, and market adoption efforts. Monitor regulatory requirements and industry standards related to environmental and emissions monitoring. Develop technical documentation and deliver internal product training. Essential Skills Knowledge of environmental testing (e.g., emissions monitoring, gas analyzers, dust monitors, aerosol air monitoring). Knowledge of environmental regulations (e.g., EPA regulations). Ability to interpret technical specifications, system configurations, and installation requirements. Experience working with industrial monitoring systems and instrumentation used in environmental or process monitoring environments. Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to customers, sales teams, and engineering groups. Additional Skills & Qualifications Foreign language skills are helpful (not required); French and/or Spanish. Customer service and sales support experience. Process engineering background. Work Environment This position is based onsite in Minnetonka, with required travel covering the US, Mexico, and Canada approximately 25% of the time. The work environment is entrepreneurial, offering room to take ownership, with leadership committed to diversifying responsibilities and developing the team. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Minnetonka, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $75000.00
