The Corporate Senior Environmental Manager is responsible for driving the company's environmental compliance and performance across all regions and operating sites. This role drives regulatory compliance with federal, state, and local environmental requirements, develops and deploys the corporate environmental framework, and partners closely with Operations, Legal, and Leadership to proactively manage environmental risks. The position plays a key role in continuous improvement, regulatory agency engagement, incident management, audits, and implementation of environmental policies, metrics, and training programs globally.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
In alignment with Corporate EHS develop, maintain, and deploy the corporate environmental framework, standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistent implementation across all regions. Drive and oversee company-wide compliance with applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations, permits, and consent obligations. Provide technical environmental support and guidance to sites on regulatory requirements, permitting, reporting, and operational compliance. Conduct, and lead environmental compliance audits and assessments. Track findings and support sites on corrective actions, and mitigation plans to closure. Support sites on regulatory agency inspections, enforcement actions, and inquiries; interface with regulatory agencies as required. Lead the environmental incident management program, including support to sites on incident response, investigation, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and regulatory reporting as applicable. Coordinate with the Legal department on regulatory matters, inspections, enforcement actions, notices of violation, and risk mitigation strategies. Support sites in identifying and managing environmental risk, aspects and impacts, and compliance obligations. Develop and deliver environmental training programs for site leadership, site EHS professionals, and operations personnel. Manage the environmental metrics; drive data quality, trend analysis, and performance insights. Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce environmental risk, improve compliance maturity, and enhance environmental performance. Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain (Operations, Engineering, Facilities) and EHS teams members to embed environmental requirements into business processes. Support all regions globally, ensuring alignment to corporate standards while recognizing regional regulatory differences. Monitor regulatory changes and emerging environmental risks; assess impacts and ensure timely implementation across the organization.REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's or Master's degree in an Environmental related Science or Engineering. Advanced degree or professional certifications are required. Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in environmental management within industrial environments. Experience within Chemical Industries is a plus. High adaptability and willingness to travel. Ability to engage stakeholders at all operational levels. Deep knowledge on environmental regulations, standards and best practices. Auditing skills. Demonstrated people management and team building skills and the ability to manage multiple projects/programs simultaneously.
