Mosquito Abatement Intern

Under direction of the Portsmouth City Health Department's Environmental Health Director, performs duties related to the mosquito control grant to ensure deliverables are met. Carries out job duties in a manner that supports the Portsmouth City Health Department's mission, purpose and goals. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must be able to lift fifty (50) pounds. Must be able to work well with others, work in harsh weather conditions such as heat, rain, high wind, etc. and be able to operate standard office equipment such as computer, scanner, fax etc. Position may require occasional evening, weekend, or emergency response activities to support mosquito control operations or public health response efforts.
