Were expanding into the Portland metro area and looking for a stormwater inspector to help support that growth.
What we do:
We service and maintain stormwater systems to ensure they meet environmental regulatory requirements and function effectively. Why we do what we do: When a stormwater system is not maintained, it exposes the owner to drainage failure and hefty fines for harming the environment. Catchall Environmental provides an affordable, comprehensive stormwater maintenance program that puts compliance on autopilot and makes every property owner an environmental hero! Catchall Environmental exists so that thousands of property owners will be empowered to improve the environment while avoiding costly regulatory fines. By providing a comprehensive stormwater management solution, property owners will no longer need to worry about regulatory liabilities or drainage problems.

Someone who cares about improving the environment and is committed to doing everything possible to help our clients (and themselves) be environmental heroes. A team-oriented individual who will support others around them to be as efficient and effective as possible. This is primarily a field-based role focused on performing stormwater inspections. The role includes the use of a company-provided vehicle to travel between client properties and inspection sites throughout the service area. Because this is an early hire in a new market, the role offers strong visibility, the support of an established team, and the opportunity to grow with the Portland team over time.
Responsibilities:
Inspect and assess stormwater conveyance and treatment system compliance. Document the condition of stormwater systems. Create system maps using iPad and other computer applications. Complete inspection reports and communicate findings with Inspection Manager daily. Collaborate with inspection and field service teams to create project plans. Analyze stormwater inspection maps to develop cost estimates. Conduct oversight and quality assurance of service work performed by third parties. Successfully complete an onboarding program, which will be tailored to the individual based on their level of experience and includes: In-person training in Tacoma. The company will cover expenses incurred because of training (e.g., travel, accommodation). Up to 3 months working with our service team to develop a working knowledge of field operations. Additional responsibilities as capacity allows, such as sales and service team support
Qualifications:
Valid drivers license and insurable driving record. Able to lift and carry 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces safely. Proficiency in using Word, Excel, iPad, and other computer applications. Strong history of success in previous roles. Understanding of stormwater system structures and their functions is a plus.
