Job Description

BIM Specialist Job Description We are seeking a full-time BIM Specialist who will lead the development and management of BIM standards and processes related to planning, architecture, and design. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, organized, and collaborative, capable of working with a wide range of experience levels. The role involves providing leadership and taking responsibility for content creation. Responsibilities + Develop and maintain BIM content. + Manage a cohesive approach across all offices. + Organize and manage the Unifi/Content Catalog Library. + Research and create Dynamo or other scripts to automate repetitive tasks, train staff in their use, and encourage implementation. + Support and manage large-scale initiatives for BIM content, such as medical equipment libraries and comprehensive warehouses. + Assign BIM content development tasks and manage staff to ensure task completion. + Strategize and manage big picture BIM model setup during project initiation. + Harvest and archive completed Revit projects and newly created content. + Respond within two hours to staff requests for Revit assistance during business hours. + Evaluate staff Revit capabilities and conduct training sessions. + Research BIM products to support technology initiatives. + Support sustainability goals in energy modeling and data harvesting. + Implement the growing list of ACC tools. + Coordinate with the Technical Director to address quality issues related to BIM templates and assets. Essential Skills + Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Related Field. + Expertise in Revit. + 2-3 years of BIM responsibilities. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with building information modeling, design, drafting, and architectural modeling. + Proficiency in Dynamo. + Strong collaboration and communication skills. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $48.08/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
