Job Description
Location:
Canton, MA- Denver, CO
- New York City, NY (Hybrid) In this position, you'll be based in either the Canton, Denver or New York City office for a minimum of three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for some of your working week.
Other key responsibilities include:
Work with the GIS leadership team to identify opportunities and implement ways to mature the IAM/PAM capability. With the IAM Specialist, take the lead in ownership and delivery of the IAM transformational programme of initiatives, ensuring delivery of related processes and technologies into operational tasks for 1st line teams. Directing the work of analysts and checking their work for accuracy & quality. Identify missing IAM processes and make tactical and strategical recommendations for options to address them, based on risk, scale and long-term maintainability. Maintain the annual plan to enable Identity and Access Management processes and technologies to keep pace with best practice security requirements and global events. Enforce IAM requirements, draft new IAM guidance/patterns and support existing systems in accordance with standards, guidelines, and procedures. Provide input into IAM roadmap activities, including technology upgrades, new integrations, and process maturity improvements. Maintain and improve documentation including process flows, requirements and operational procedures. What will you bring to the role? The IAM Practitioner requires significant experience of work routines and procedures used to support and administer Identity Access Management, preferably in a senior role within financial services. The role will operate within defined technical and operational procedures, which require proficient knowledge and awareness to ensure user access is identified and governed according to local and global regulations. The role requires attention to detail and evaluative judgment based on best practice and previous experience. The role holder is expected to respond to and resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience, which will be guided by clear policy and procedure. Experience working in large global organisations, with distributed teams, structured service delivery, and formal change management is an essential requirement. Along with a strong understanding of IAM concepts, standards, and principles of how modern identity access works within a corporate environment. Other key skills required for the role:Essential:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work on own initiative. Hands-on experience with IAM/PAM tooling such as SailPoint and CyberArk. Strong knowledge of Microsoft products such as Active Directory, Entra ID, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM). Experience operating IAM within regulated environments (e.g.ISO27001, GDPR
). Capability in designing IAM controls such as Role Based Access Controls (RBAC), Segregation of Duties (SoD), Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign On (SSO).Preferred:
Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Microsoft Identity certifications, or similar. Experience across both On-Premise and Cloud environments. Familiarity and understanding of broader Information Security concepts as they relate to IAM. The typical base pay range for this role is $100,000- $119,000 in Canton | $95,000
- $113,000 in Denver | $105,000
- $124,000 in New York.
