As the chief executive for technical education in one of Utah's fastest-growing regions, the President will need to maintain institutional autonomy while adapting to shifting legislative priorities and strengthening cooperation and coordination with industry professionals, other technical colleges, and degree-granting institutions. A leader with a community-first mindset with genuine passion for student outcomes.QUALIFICATIONS A
bachelor's degree is required. A master's degree from an accredited institution and industry experience are preferred. Proven success in executive-level management, ideally within technical education, workforce development, or a related industry. Classroom experience is preferred. Demonstrated success in strategic planning and organizational growth. Experience with accreditation processes and compliance frameworks. Proven ability to build industry partnerships and legislative relationships. Tooele Technical College is an open-enrollment public technical college serving high school students and adults in Tooele County and surrounding areas. With an annual enrollment of over 1,300 students, Tooele Tech provides a highly trained workforce for the region and the state of Utah, awarding 481 certificates in the 2025 fiscal year. Located 30 minutes southwest of Salt Lake City, Tooele offers a lifestyle defined by the majestic Oquirrh Mountains and a small-town community feel that is rapidly modernizing.
