Job Description
Erosion Control Specialist The Erosion Control Specialist implements erosion and sediment control measures to protect the environment from construction‑related runoff. This role partners with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and deliver effective, sustainable solutions. Responsibilities Develop erosion and sediment control plans in accordance with BMPs. Prepare and submit erosion control permits to the WDNR and local agencies. Conduct weekly site inspections to verify compliance with approved plans. Manage multiple erosion control projects to ensure quality and timely completion. Maintain accurate documentation and reports using standard computer applications, including spreadsheets and GIS tools. Qualifications Associate or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Water Resources, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred. Internship or co‑op experience a plus. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Strong technical writing, organization, and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet software. Knowledge of local, state, and federal erosion control and stormwater regulations. Strong communication and customer service skills. Valid Wisconsin Driver's License with a good driving record. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Milwaukee, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
