Job Description
The town of Provincetown is now accepting applications for the full-time position of Fire Chief in the Provincetown Fire Department. This position leads a full-service combination Fire and EMS agency through a significant period of growth and organizational development, overseeing fire suppression, rescue, and emergency medical services for a dynamic year-round and seasonal community. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible fire service experience, including at least five years in a command or supervisory capacity, and must currently hold at least the rank of Captain. This is a non-union position with a base salary range of $165,000 to $175,100, commensurate with qualifications. The Fire Chief shall reside within the towns of Provincetown, Truro, or Wellfleet within six months of hire.
