Job Description
The City of Aiken Department of Public Safety is accepting applications for a Public Safety Cadet. Performing general station maintenance Maintaining equipment Maintaining fire hydrants Participating in training as well as performing and assisting in fire fighting on an assigned 24 hour shift Must have a valid SC driver's license Be enrolled in an accredited college program with a minimum 2.0 GPA, and have a financial need Must meet requirements of SC Fire Training Academy, and pass written and physical agility tests This position is subject to a criminal background check for any convictions directly related to its duties and responsibilities.
