Job Description

Description:
Fire Department Captain - Level 3 (Security Clearance Required) We are seeking an experienced Fire Service Professionals, who are eligible for a security clearance to lead our Fort Worth fire service team. The incumbent will supervise assigned firefighters, oversee the inspection, and maintenance of all tools, equipment, vehicles, and station facilities. Safely and effectively direct response operations for structural fires, Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF), hazardous material incidents, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and technical rescues. In addition, the captain will provide fire service support for F 35 production activities, assist in managing the day to day shift operations under the direction of the on-duty Battalion Chief, command incidents, and ensure adherence to safety and operational standards. This role typically requires five to ten years of professional firefighting or fire service leadership experience.
Basic Qualifications:
Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP), International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) or Pro-Board equivalent Firefighter I & II, Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations Certification.
Fire Officer I Fire Instructor I Texas Department of State Health Services or National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians Emergency Medical Technician Certification or Higher Level of Certification Desired Skills:
(TCFP / IFSAC / Pro-Board)

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
