Secondary Coverage:
Prior wildland firefighting experience is required. Willing to live/work in remote locions (volile/unpredictable). Specialized Experience Requirement:

OR An approprie combinion of specialized experience and gradue level educion (beyond wh is required for a master's degree, i.e., more than 36 semester hours leading to a Ph.D.). Examples of specialized experience include experience assisting with providing oversight and management of aviion activities including fire detection, suppression, use of fire retardant, aerial non-fire projects. Conducting contract management, safety training and risk assessment for aviion programs. Assisting with providing technical and administrive supervision for aviion programs. For the GW-12 : You must have one-year specialized experience equivalent to least the GW-11 grade level. FIREFIGHTER RETIREMENT COVERAGE
This is a secondary firefighter position under 5 USC 8336 (CSRS) and 8412(d) (FERS). Prior wildland firefighting experience is required. There is no age limit for entry into secondary positions. Firefighter retirement coverage of the incumbent depends upon his or her individual work history.
