Job Description

Company DescriptionWe are currently looking to fill our roster for the 2026 Fire Season. EMS Unlimited is an exciting and professional provider of emergency medical care in a wide variety of mediums. We pride ourselves on a sense of "team" and value those who are patient care focused, customer service driven and excited to represent our industry in a professional manner.

Job DescriptionThe EMS Unlimited Wildland EMT or Paramedic will deploy on campaign wildfires for up to 14-21 day's. This position requires a minimum of 1 year wildland experience with a preferred 2 years experience. EMS Unlimited provides compassionate medical care to line firefighters and support staff. Hiking and camping will be required and the work environment is extreme.

EMS Unlimited EMTs and Paramedics on the Wildland Medical Team may be assigned to Wildfire Ambulances, Wildfire Fireline Teams and/or Wildfire Rapid Extraction Module (REM). Must be at least 21 years old. Must have a current RT-130 and pack test for consideration.

Paramedic:
 $500-$850 per day average based on hourly with OT and experience. 
SCHEDULE
Non guaranteed, dependent on fire requests
Deployments:
14-21 days (Add 2 days for travel time), 24/7 shift starts after check in at ICP and deployment in the field.
POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
EMS Unlimited wildland staff support the needs of requesting agencies for wildland fires. There are 3 different positions that staff may be assigned to:

Line EMT/ParamedicAssigned to a task force on the fire lineHiking with a task force and assisting where needed. Be available for any medical emergencies within task force teamAttend daily medical leader check ins and task force debriefsComplete documentation and communication check in as requiredAmbulanceAssigned to a fire line task force and staged somewhere within the task force region. Will stay with the ambulance for stagingAvailable in case of emergency and a transport is needed from the regionAttend daily medical leader check ins and task force debriefsComplete documentation and communication check in as requiredREMAssigned to a task force on the fire lineAttend daily medical leader check ins and task force debriefsComplete documentation and communication check in as requiredAssist task force teams with any technical rescues, extrications and transports
Requirements:

Prior wildland fire deployment experience required.
