Our innovative Mobile Extraction Units (MEUs) deliver on-site cleaning and inspection of turnout gear, ensuring compliance with
NFPA 1851
standards while minimizing downtime for fire departments. Redline was built by firefighters, for firefighters. Our team understands the unique challenges of the job because we've been there. Key Responsibilities:
Operate as part of our Mobile Extraction Unit (MEU) team to inspect and clean firefighter PPE in compliance with
NFPA 1851
standards ​​. Conduct routine and advanced inspections of turnout gear for damage, contamination, and wear. Utilize industrial cleaning equipment to safely decontaminate helmets, boots, gloves, and turnout gear. Educate fire departments on proper gear maintenance, NFPA compliance, and cancer risk reduction practices​​. Maintain records of inspections, cleanings, and repairs performed. Assist in identifying gear that requires advanced repair or retirement. Ensure proper handling of PPE to avoid cross-contamination.
Qualifications :
We welcome applications from individuals with strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to protecting first responders. Current and retired firefighters are encouraged to apply. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential safety hazards in PPE. Comfortable working with industrial cleaning equipment and handling protective gear. Ability to lift and handle PPE sets and equipment Commitment to maintaining a high level of cleanliness and professionalism.
Travel Requirement:
This is a field-based position requiring extensive travel (up to 75%) throughout the assigned territory. Candidates should be comfortable with frequent overnight travel and extended periods working on-site at fire departments.

All hires will receive thorough training on
NFPA 1851
