Job Description

About the Role We are seeking motivated and safety-focused Confined Space Rescue Technicians to join our emergency response team. The successful candidates will provide standby rescue services, emergency response, hazard monitoring, and technical rescue support for industrial, construction, utility, energy, and manufacturing operations. This position requires individuals who thrive in physically demanding environments and are committed to maintaining the highest standards of workplace safety. Any first responders are encouraged to apply. Police, Firefighter, EMT, Paramedic. Key Responsibilities Provide confined space rescue standby services at industrial and construction sites. Perform hazard assessments and rescue pre-planning before work activities begin. Monitor confined space entries and ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations. Conduct atmospheric testing using gas detection equipment. Inspect, maintain, and operate rescue equipment including: Tripods Winches Retrieval systems SCBA and supplied-air systems Rope rescue equipment Respond to emergency situations involving confined spaces, high-angle rescue, and industrial incidents. Complete rescue reports, safety documentation, and incident records. Participate in ongoing training, drills, and competency evaluations. Work collaboratively with site personnel, supervisors, and emergency response teams. Promote a strong safety culture and intervene when unsafe conditions are identified. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in physically demanding conditions. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing (where applicable). Preferred Qualifications Experience as a first responder is highly recommended but not required for highly motivated individuals. Confined Space Entry and Rescue certification. First Aid/CPR certification. Technical Rope Rescue certification. HAZMAT Awareness or Operations certification. EMR, EMT, or Paramedic certification. Experience in industrial safety, construction, oil & gas, utilities, mining, or manufacturing environments. Fall Protection and Elevated Work Platform certifications. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (23 kg) regularly. Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and enter confined spaces. Ability to wear respiratory protection and personal protective equipment for extended periods. Ability to perform rescue operations in challenging environmental conditions.
