Job Description

The Maplewood Fire Department is a well-funded agency highly supported by its community, city management and city council. The Fire Department believes in a patient first philosophy with safety and wellness being one of its core values. Traditional and lateral transfer applications are currently being accepted. The City of Maplewood may start new employees who are experienced firefighters and/or paramedics at any step in the pay range. If you're currently a paramedic with no firefighter licensure/training and chosen for this role, the city will pay for your training to become licensed as a Firefighter in Minnesota within one year of hire.
