Job Overview The Farmington Fire & Rescue Department is seeking qualified applicants to fill Per Diem openings for the position of Lieutenant with room for advancement. Come be part of a growing and progressive fire department that averages close to 1400 calls for service annually. The Fire Department is a combination department with fulltime Firefighters and per diem Firefighters. The Fire Department protects nearly 7000 residents within a 40sq mile area.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Five years' experience as an officer or ten years' experience as a Senior Firefighter or combination of experience and education.
- Pro-Board Firefighter I & 2. Fire Officer 1 (Fire Officer 2 when class is available)
- Nationally Registered EMT (Advance EMT Preferred)
- Will be responsible to lead a crew of three each shift
- Letter of recommendation from a Captain or above.
- 24 hours a week. with opportunity for set schedule. Must be flexible.
