Salary $50,500.00 Annually Location Conway, SC Job Type Full-Time Job Number 202500146 Division Airport Department MBIA Air Rescue Firefighters Opening Date 05/12/2026 Closing Date 5/20/2026 11:59 PM Eastern General Job Description Under occasional supervision, on Department of Airport property, enforces federal, local and state laws, County ordinances and Airport policies and procedures related to public safety and welfare. Duties for this Position Responds to actual or potential aircraft emergencies to prevent or extinguish aircraft fires and rescue aircraft occupants. Responds to fires to protect life and property. Responds to medical emergencies as a First Responder and providing patient care as appropriate to adopted protocols. Works under stressful, high-risk conditions. Additional Information Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of Civilian or Military ARFF firefighter experience. Candidate must pass a background check without indication of possible aviation security risk as required by the transportation security administration, valid SC motor vehicle operator's license, and meet pre-employment drug screening requirements.
