401(k) 401(k) matching Bonus based on performance Company car Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Position Summary The Field Supervisor (FS) is responsible for maintaining operational oversight, officer accountability, and post compliance throughout their assigned tour of duty. This role serves as the primary field-level support position for security personnel and clients by conducting site inspections, enforcing uniform and training standards, troubleshooting operational concerns, and ensuring staff continuity across assigned accounts. Field Supervisors are expected to maintain a highly visible operational presence throughout the shift while ensuring officers are properly trained, adhering to post orders, and always representing IronWatch Security professionally. This position requires flexibility, dependability, strong communication skills, and the ability to respond rapidly to operational needs, staffing shortages, and emergency situations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Field Operations Oversight Conduct routine site visits and inspections throughout the assigned shift duration. Visit a minimum of 60% of active assigned sites during each shift. Ensure every assigned post is physically checked a minimum of two (2) times per week during the supervisor's scheduled tour rotation. Verify officers are actively following site-specific post orders and operational procedures. Conduct random and scheduled officer knowledge tests related to: Post orders Emergency procedures Client expectations Reporting requirements Site-specific protocols Ensure all officers maintain professional appearance standards including: Proper uniform compliance Required equipment and identification Compliance with grooming and appearance standards Conduct credential verification inspections to ensure officers maintain valid: State security licenses Armed certifications (if applicable) CPR/First Aid certifications (if required) Any client-required certifications or credentials Notify management immediately of any expired credentials or certifications. Notify management when officer credentials or certifications are within ninety (90) days of expiration to assist in compliance tracking and renewal scheduling. If an officer is found working with expired credentials, certifications, or licensing, the Field Supervisor is authorized and required to immediately remove the officer from duty and the assigned post. The Field Supervisor shall assume coverage responsibilities for the affected post until the scheduled end of the shift or until properly credentialed relief personnel arrive. Operations Management and/or dispatch must be notified immediately so permanent coverage, or replacement staffing can be coordinated. Staffing & Coverage Responsibilities Assist operations personnel, account managers, and area managers in locating staffing coverage for open or vacant shifts. Respond to urgent staffing shortages and operational emergencies as directed. Stand post for vacant or uncovered shifts during the supervisor's tour of duty when necessary. Supervisors may be held over for operational necessity up to a maximum of sixteen (16) total working hours. Field Supervisors may be required to report early to cover emergency vacancies occurring within two (2) hours prior to the start of their scheduled shift provided proper notice is given. Supervisors are expected to remain operationally available and responsive during assigned working hours. Officer Support & Problem Resolution Serve as the first level of field escalation for officer concerns, incidents, and operational issues.
Troubleshoot field-related issues involving:
Officer performance Site access concerns Scheduling conflicts Equipment issues Client complaints Interpersonal conflicts between officers Provide guidance and corrective coaching when appropriate. Escalate serious operational, disciplinary, or client-related concerns to Area Managers and/or Account Managers in a timely manner. Document operational deficiencies, policy violations, and significant incidents through company reporting procedures. Travel Requirements This position requires frequent travel between assigned client sites throughout the duration of each shift. Occasional overnight travel may be required based on operational needs, staffing shortages, client requests, or extended area coverage requirements. Approved overnight lodging accommodation will be paid directly by the company or reimbursed upon submission of valid receipts in accordance with company policy. Must be an approved driver through our insurance carrier to operate any IWS security vehicles. Compliance & Professional Standards Ensure officers are operating in compliance with: Company SOPs Client post orders State licensing requirements Company appearance and conduct standards Conduct quality assurance checks to maintain consistency across all assigned accounts. Maintain confidentiality regarding clients, staffing, operations, and internal company matters. Represent IronWatch Security professionally during all client and officer interactions. Schedule & Working Conditions Field Supervisors may work varying schedules including: Days Evenings Overnight shifts Weekends Holidays This is a hands-on operational role requiring extensive travel between assigned sites throughout the shift. Extended working hours may be required due to staffing shortages, emergency coverage, or operational necessity. Qualifications Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to effectively manage stressful or rapidly changing situations. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Must maintain all required state licensing/certifications applicable to assigned region. Strong understanding of report writing, officer accountability, and operational standards. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to conduct frequent travel between sites during shift duration. Ability to respond to emergencies and physically patrol properties when required. Ability to work extended shifts up to sixteen (16) hours when operationally necessary. Ability to work in various weather conditions and interior/exterior conditions. Reporting Structure The Field Supervisor reports directly to the assigned Area Manager and/or Account Manager and works in coordination with Operations Management to ensure staffing continuity, field compliance, and operational efficiency.
