Job Description

Due to the nature of the position, only candidates that meet the following criteria will be considered: Must live within 15 miles of Pleasanton, CA Must have California Drivers License and car Job Summary Under the general supervision of QA/RA Director, assist with front office and daily operation of small Ophthalmic Medical Device company. Lots of room for advancement. Must be a go-getter and willing to learn on the job. We will train the right candidate. Regular working hours are Monday-Thursday, 9:00am to 12:00pm. Probation period will last about 3-6 months. Schedule is flexible after probation period, with possibility of more hours. Salary Range is $25-$30/hr, depending on experience. This may become a full-time job with the right candidate. Duties & Responsibilities Document Control Tasks The following tasks include a lot of computer use, printing, scanning, and filing. Maintaining logs (work order, shipping, lot number, etc.) Generating and tracking orders (work orders, sterilization, calibration, bioburden testing, etc.) Print and/or inspect product labels and Instructions for Use Perform final inspection of boxed and labeled product Perform internal audits per standard operating procedures (SOPs) Other Document Control-related duties, as needed Shipping/Receiving Generate ship labels through carrier websites (UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.) Box and/or ship product to customers and vendors by dropping them shipments off at UPS Store and Postal Annex Other administrative duties, as needed Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or GED required Previous experience with supporting management with everyday tasks Capable of adhering to and respecting of confidential and sensitive information and data Ability to work well with all levels of personnel and work with minimal direction/supervision Basic computer skills required. Knowledge of Google suite (Sheets, Docs) and MS Office required Must possess and demonstrate excellent English communication skills Must have California Drivers License and car Mandarin and/or Russian speaking skills a big plus
