Job Description

Quality Control Specialist Fulltime, $16.25 Monday through Friday (6am-2:30pm) The Quality Control Agent is responsible for inspecting and quality-checking all company's products before, during, and after the manufacturing process. This role works closely with the Production and Customer Service teams to support COAs, shipping, and product-related inquiries while assisting the Quality Unit (QU) Manager with quality issues. Key Responsibilities Perform quality inspections on products throughout the manufacturing process Create Manufacturing Batch Records (MBRs) and maintain all required documentation Review and approve Certificates of Analysis (COAs), MSDS/SDS, and release drums for shipment Support raw material sampling, testing, and incoming shipment inspection Conduct weekly internal audits (clean room, wet room, warehouse) and water testing Assist with label revisions, reference sheets, FTIR forms, and documentation updates Investigate non-conformance and out-of-specification issues with the QU Manager Log commercial sales, returns, and COA tracking Provide customer service backup (phone, email, and web inquiries) Communicate effectively with Production, Operations, and Customer Service teams Participation in the Safety Committee Perform additional duties as assigned Required Skills & Qualifications Experience with FDA and cGMP regulations (preferred) Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening Solid problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities High attention to detail and accuracy Adaptable, proactive, and able to perform well under pressure Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and a customer service focus Resilient, positive attitude with the ability to handle difficult customers professionally while balancing customer advocacy and company interests Working Conditions & Physical Demands Prolonged computer use involving typing and data entry Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of drums and boxes (10-50 lbs.) Bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods Work in both office and production environments (exposure to noise, dust, and cleaning agents) Must wear required PPE and strictly follow safety and cGMP policies Ability to communicate effectively (speech, vision, and hearing)
