Geauga County Board of Elections 12611 Ravenwood Dr., Suite 004, Chardon, Ohio 44024 Full time Republican Registration Clerk
VOTER REGISTRATION SUPERVISOR
Under general supervision of the Director/Deputy Director the Voter Registration Supervisor performs a variety of duties in order to successfully prepare for all elections.
Other duties:
Assist in all necessary daily activities of the election process, including but not limited to absentee voting, campaign finance, ballot proofing, ballot language, posting the mail and the care for the overall appearance and maintenance of the office. Adhere to all office procedures adopted by the Geauga County Board of Elections.
EMPLOYMENT
The Geauga County Board of Elections prohibits discrimination against any job applicant or employee, because of race, gender, religion, national origin, family status, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, military status, disability, or genetics. A Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) background check is required for prospective permanent Board of Elections employees, vendors, and contractors that perform sensitive services for the BOE. The Director and Deputy Director shall review the results of the BCI check and refer all applicants with any convictions to the Board to determine whether the conviction(s) should bar employment and/or services.
  • Request BCI check at time of hiring and every ten years at minimum
