SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare all Juvenile complaints for all Juvenile cases. Collect all fines assessed by the Judge. Issue receipts for money received. Prepare and deliver al Juvenile deposits. Communicate and assist the general public in person and by telephone. Update warrants and past due fines. Work with Local Law Agencies. Type official correspondence for the Justice of the Peace. Maintain adequate files, forms and documentation; confirm and schedule appointments for the Judge. Work with S.T.A.R. Program and with Quad Counties concerning counseling for Juveniles. Assist Judge in Court with all Juvenile Cases. Performs related work as required. (Position may not include all the duties listed, nor do the examples cover all the duties, which may be performed or supervised.)
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimal 1-year clerical work experience. Computer experience in word and excel. Able to communicate both in English and Spanish preferred. Capable of working independently.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED (General Equivalency Diploma)
