Job Description

Catalina Reynoso Law is a boutique law firm that specializes in estate planning (trusts, wills, powers of attorney, nominations of guardian, health care directives, deeds, etc.). We also assist clients with conservatorship, probate, and Medi-Cal planning cases. We are seeking a detail-oriented Probate Law Clerk to assist with probate and conservatorship matters in Los Angeles and Orange County. This is an excellent opportunity for a pre-law student, recent graduate, or current law student interested in gaining hands-on experience in the legal field. This position would work closely with the attorney and legal assistants. The ideal candidate is highly organized, professional, compassionate with clients, and has a strong interest in probate law, elder law, and estate planning. Responsibilities Prepare and file probate pleadings and court documents in Los Angeles and Orange County Assist with probate matters including: Letters of Administration, General Conservatorships, Limited Conservatorships, Guardianships Assist with estate planning matters: real property deeds, trusts and wills, powers of attorney, long-term Medi-Cal planning Schedule and manage court hearings and deadlines, draft and prepare post-appointment documents and filings Communicate with clients regarding case updates, document requests, and scheduling Maintain organized digital and physical case files Assist with administrative and support tasks Qualifications Bilingual in Spanish required Strong interest in the legal field and/or future law school attendance Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities Ability to handle sensitive client matters professionally and compassionately Prior legal/office experience is preferred Skilled in Clio, Adobe, and Microsoft Word preferred
