Job Description

Title:
Office Clerk - Public Interest Law Firm Want to work for a firm that makes a difference? Our firm specializes in groundbreaking labor and employment law, environmental and constitutional/civil rights litigation, political and election law, and wage-and-hour and employment discrimination class action matters. We are seeking an Office Clerk to start by June 15, 2026 for a long-term position of at least two years. This position would be based in our office in Pasadena, and would be integrated with our office in San Francisco. This position would allow for someone to gain experience working in an office setting, running administrative operations for a small and dedicated team. Duties:
  • Support daily operations and services, including reception, mail, supplies, equipment, catering, shredding, and office opening and closing protocols
  • Coordinate conference room reservations, create Zoom meetings, and set up conference rooms when needed
  • Oversee kitchen supplies inventorying and re-stocking
  • Complete printing, copying, and shredding projects when needed
  • Support staff onboarding and offboarding program
  • Maintain administrative organizational files, including Excel spreadsheets
  • Provide reception coverage
  • Maintain kitchen and conference room
  • Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications:
  • Dependability and punctuality ( arrival on time every day is critical for this position )
  • Professional oral and written communication skills
  • Understanding of urgency in meeting deadlines
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Previous office work experience strongly preferred, but not required The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8:45 am to 5:15pm.
This is an entirely in-office (non-hybrid) position. We are an equal opportunity employer. The salary starts at $45,000, commensurate with experience, which is competitive with public interest and non-profit firms. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, and, in addition to 12 holidays, 2 weeks per year vacation to start and 3 weeks after 18 months.
