Job Description We are pleased to announce a career opportunity in our Pleasant Hill, CA office for an Administrative Associate to provide key support to our Tax practice and centralized firm functions. This Administrative Associate position demands an ambitious mindset, strong organizational and communication skills, and proactive follow-through on responsibilities and initiatives to effectively carry out the following responsibilities: Support client data administration through the onboarding of new clients and updating of existing client data. Assist with client project administration with the setup, changes, and maintenance of projects within the workflow database and managing tax organizers. Download, organize, and scan original and subsequent client data from multiple sources. Develop knowledge around the functionality of our software applications specific to tax and accounting engagements, as well as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and other technical resources. Assist and support Administrative and Tax management with recurring or one-time requests and projects. Back up other administrative team members in their absence, when needed.
The successful candidate must demonstrate:
Excellent, well-rounded communication skills to effectively maintain a productive rapport with team members, management, and clients. Efficient organization, planning, and time management skills in order to support and manage responsibilities in a timely manner. Self-directed initiative and flexibility to accommodate needs within a fast-paced environment. Ability to adapt to processes and absorb responsibilities as firm and client needs evolve. Requirements Proficient interpersonal skills Self-motivated, able to multi-task, and work independently with minimal supervision Exceptional attention to detail, discernment, and problem-solving aptitude Ability maintain the highest level of confidentiality Excellent grammar, punctuation, and English language usage required This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly), on-premise position with the potential to transition to a hybrid schedule in the future.
