Position SummaryWorking with Metreas General Counsel and Legal Contracts and Compliance (LCC) Team, you will be tasked with conducting background and legal research, drafting, reviewing, and managing documents for Metreas various business entities, and supporting the General Counsel and various members of the LCC team in the administration of a multinational corporation. What Youll DoTeam with the Legal, Compliance and Contracts Team and business leaders to achieve business goals and objectives. Effectively build strong relationships with internal and external customers. Perform legal research on issues relevant to the aerospace, defense, and national security sectors, including procurement regulations, cybersecurity requirements, and federal contracting obligations. Assist in drafting internal policies, compliance checklists, and training tools for employees across global operations. Participate in compliance audits, data collection, and reporting activities. Support special projects involving regulatory changes, process improvements, and riskmitigation initiatives. Assist in screening third parties, customers, and supplychain partners against U.S. and international restrictedparty lists. Support export classification efforts under the ITAR and EAR, including gathering technical data from engineering teams. Help prepare documentation for export licenses, Technical Assistance Agreements (TAAs), and other authorizations. Monitor updates to tradecontrol regulations and assist in updating internal guidance documents and training materials. What Youll Bring The ideal candidate will have a broad interest in defense and security matters and the complicated legal and compliance issues that arise therefrom. A strong interest in contracts, compliance, corporate law, and engaging with a committed, dynamic LCC team will result in success in this role. The candidate can expect a wide range of assignments supporting the legal, contracts, and compliance functions of Metreas business entities. As the need arises, interns may expect to be exposed to a wide range of the LCC team and the issues they deal with every day including commercial contract disputes, negotiations, trade compliance, employee relations issues, and commercial finance and investment (mergers and acquisitions (M&A)). The Metrea LCC summer intern will engage regularly with the teams members who are spread out all over the world presenting global legal and compliance challenges.

Additional Eligibility QualificationsEducation:
Completed Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Political Science, Legal or other related fields; active pursuit ofMasters Degree or JD Experience:
