$18.00•$23.00 per hour Job description: In-Office Position We have been voted one of the fastest-growing law firms in Atlanta, Georgia, and we are looking to add you! If you can handle a fast-paced environment and can perform all functions related to receiving calls, clients, vendors, and deliveries and direct them to the appropriate individual(s) within the firm according to established policies and procedures. Maintains contact with attorneys, staff, and clients and observes confidentiality of client and firm matters. Come build with a great team! Duties Assist with legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support attorneys' case preparation across diverse practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, and family law. Manage document review and case file organization within document management systems like iManage and PCLaw, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Provide administrative support including data entry, filing, scheduling appointments, and maintaining client records. Support litigation processes through drafting legal documents, proofreading, transcription, and preparing contracts or pleadings. Conduct client interviews and gather relevant information for case development while maintaining professional phone etiquette. Assist with project management tasks related to ongoing cases or firm initiatives to ensure deadlines are met efficiently. Perform clerical duties such as answering phones, organizing files, and supporting the overall smooth operation of the law office. Responsibilities As the primary point of contact for the office, the individual is tasked with various duties aimed at ensuring smooth operations and efficient client communication.Open Office :
Begin the day by turning on lights, starting up equipment, and preparing the workspace for the day.Email Management :
Check, print, and respond to all incoming emails promptly. If necessary, forward emails to the appropriate department or attorney for further action.Phone Communication :
Handle incoming calls from current and potential clients professionally, addressing their inquiries or directing them to the appropriate staff member.Client Follow-Up :
Follow up with both potential and existing clients to address their needs and ensure satisfaction.Document Management :
Scan all documents into client folders to maintain organized and accessible records.Administrative Tasks :
Perform various administrative duties, including faxing, filing, copying, and managing mailings.Mailing Services :
Utilize FedEx and Stamps.com for mailing documents and packages efficiently.Amazon Supply List:
Inventory + Order sent to BOD by the 5th of theMonth Calendar Management :
Maintain BOD New Hire Schedule. Maintain Managing Attorney Personal Calendar. Schedule and arrange client meetings and other meetings as needed.Billing Office:
Process Client Payments in PayPal / LawPay Update Report for Payment Plan Clients Process Admin Fees through LawPay Onboard All PNC's in MyCase and Hard-file Send WOW Boxes to New PNC's Print Docs / Receipts forClients Amazon Order Closing Procedures :
End the day by securing files, locking file drawers, cleaning common areas like counters and phones, and ensuring overall office security by turning on alarm and locking deadbolt before clocking out.
