Job Details for Judicial Law Clerk (Career or Term) Court Name/Organization Illinois Southern District Court Overview of the Position The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois is seeking a full-time career or term judicial law clerk to U.S. District Judge Stephen P. McGlynn. If hired as a term clerk, there is a possibility of conversion to a career position. This position provides critical support to Judge McGlynn by conducting legal research and preparing legal memoranda, orders, and draft opinions on both civil and criminal cases. The successful candidate for this position will report to the East St. Louis courthouse.
