This is a primarily on-site opportunity based in Framingham, Massachusetts, which offers strong day-to-day collaboration, mentorship, and face time as you ramp up in the practice, with more flexibility possible over time.Note:
Must be admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in good standing and have at least 3 years of Massachusetts family law experience. We are seeking someone who can step in and handle files with limited to moderate supervision. About Us We are a small, established family law practice focused on helping clients navigate some of the most important and difficult moments in their lives. Our team is known for thoughtful counsel, strong preparation, and effective advocacy in Massachusetts Probate & Family Court matters. Confidential Employer. Job Description Represent clients in family law matters including divorce, custody, parenting time, child support, alimony, modifications, contempt actions, paternity, and related Probate & Family Court proceedings Manage a caseload with increasing independence Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, agreements, and legal correspondence Prepare for and attend hearings, conferences, mediations, conciliations, and trials Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda as needed Negotiate settlements and help clients evaluate practical legal options Communicate with clients in a compassionate, responsive, and professional manner Collaborate with attorneys and support staff on case strategy and case progression Qualifications JD required Active Massachusetts Bar admission in good standing 3+ years of Massachusetts family law experience Strong litigation, drafting, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills Ability to manage cases with limited to moderate supervision Client-focused, professional, and empathetic approach More senior candidates will be considered Why You Will Love Working Here Direct access to mentorship and real responsibility Opportunity to build a long-term future in the practice Collegial small-firm environment where your contributions matter Meaningful client work with real human impact Competitive compensation, bonus potential, benefits, and retirement plan with employer match JPC-863 #LI-SK3Job Type:
