Family Law Associate - St.
Louis, MO Salary:
$130,000-$150,000 + Full Benefits Package Our client, a well-established law firm, is seeking a Family Law Associate to join their growing practice. This role offers hands-on litigation experience, early courtroom exposure, and meaningful client interaction within a collaborative environment. The Practice This role focuses on a broad range of domestic relations matters, including: Divorce and legal separation matters Custody and parenting plan disputes Child support and maintenance Post-judgment modifications and enforcement Mediation, negotiated settlements, and contested hearings and trials Attorneys in this group represent individuals navigating complex personal and financial disputes, requiring strategic advocacy, thoughtful negotiation, and practical problem-solving. What You'll Do Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and settlement agreements Take active roles in hearings, mediations, and trial preparation Represent clients in court appearances Advise clients on legal strategy, rights, and potential outcomes Manage discovery and factual development in contested matters Work closely with partners while maintaining responsibility for key portions of cases What You Bring 3+ years of family law or domestic litigation experience Strong drafting and advocacy skills Experience handling divorce, custody, support, and related matters Ability to independently manage cases and deadlines Client-focused approach with strong interpersonal communication skills Missouri licensure or eligibility for admission Why This Opportunity Direct client interaction and case ownership Early and meaningful courtroom experience Collaborative environment with strong partner mentorship Opportunity for professional growth within an established practice Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package, including: Health, dental, and vision insurance Short- and long-term disability coverage 401(k) plan If you are looking for a role that offers substantive legal experience and long-term growth, this is an opportunity worth exploring.
