Associate Attorney in Las Vegas Law Office

Hooks, Meng & Clement is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our growing Southern Nevada office. Our firm focuses on Industrial Insurance Litigation, representing a diverse client base that includes employers, insurers, and third-party administrators. Compensation:

Annual Salary of $100,000+

Responsibilities:

Represent clients in court and before government agencies. Draft legal documents and correspondence, as well as conduct thorough legal research on each case. Strategize and plan with clients and cases, ensuring meticulous attention to detail in every case. Make sure that case files are up-to-date and organized by daily use of the electronic case management system, Filevine. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, not just representation. Pay attention to industry trends and developments, while staying informed on Nevada statutes and regulations. Work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment and under multiple deadlines. Must be able to meet or exceed the monthly billing requirement while using electronic legal billing software, Clio.

Qualifications:

Member in good standing with the State Bar of Nevada. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. Adaptable, flexible, reliable, and accountable in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team while also working independently. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Consistently demonstrates a high level of professionalism, energy, and performance.
