This role is critical to the client experience and the firm's intake process, serving as the first point of contact for prospective and current clients. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service in both English and Spanish, assist with preliminary case intake, and provide translation support in a fast-paced law firm environment. This role is hybrid and will require a minimum of 3 days onsite at our Haddonfield, NJ office.

Responsibilities:

Legal Intake Responsibilities Serve as the initial point of contact for prospective and existing clients via phone and virtual communication, in both English and Spanish. Conduct preliminary client intake by gathering and accurately documenting case-related information in accordance with firm procedures. Explain the firm's practice areas, intake process, and next steps to potential clients in a clear and professional manner. Identify and escalate urgent or time-sensitive matters to appropriate attorneys or legal staff. Schedule consultations and appointments with attorneys and legal team members. Maintain accurate, detailed, and confidential client records within the firm's case management systems. Communicate effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure a smooth transition from intake to case handling. Translation & Language Support Responsibilities Provide verbal and written translation support for Spanish-speaking clients throughout the intake process. Assist attorneys and staff with translating client communications, documents, and case-related information as needed. Ensure accurate and culturally sensitive communication between clients and legal staff. Support client follow-up communications in both English and Spanish to maintain a high level of client service. Qualifications Fluency in both English and Spanish required; strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages. Prior experience in a law firm, legal intake, client services, or professional office environment strongly preferred. Translation or interpretation experience preferred. Strong understanding of client confidentiality, professionalism, and sensitivity when handling legal matters. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients. High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume legal environment. High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or legal-related training is a plus.

Pay:

$25.00 - $29.00 per hour
