We are seeking a Legal Conflicts Analyst to join our Raleigh or Wilmington office with a preference for the Raleigh Office location. Applicants should be multi-task oriented, have excellent attention to detail, have ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, and be able to function well in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates will demonstrate great customer service, teamwork, problem solving skills and adaptability. The Legal Conflicts Analyst's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: completing conflict searches on all potential clients and matters utilizing Intapp (the conflicts database), 3E billing system, and other research resources; analyzing and evaluating search results to identify potential conflicts of interest; adding prospective/searched parties into the conflict database; updating searches when necessary; maintaining electronic records of all conflict research performed; opening, closing, and editing all client/matters; verifying all requirements have been met and intake is properly completed for new matters; running various reports on scheduled and as-needed basis; responding to inquiries from employees concerning the Conflict, Billing, and Intapp systems; and training new employees, based on position, on conflicts of interest and the client/matter intake process. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, an Associate's Degree is highly desirable. Two or more years' experience in a law firm setting as a conflicts specialist/analyst, researcher, law librarian, or records clerk is highly preferred. Strong research and computer skills required. Experience using Programming Logic, Boolean Operators, Intapp and/or 3E is highly desirable. After an initial training period, candidates are eligible for a flexible workplace schedule of up to two days working from home with the understanding that client-related needs will take priority. We are offering a generous sign-on bonus of $5,000 to direct hires for this position.
