Job Description

Boutique disability and personal injury law firm seeking a full-time Intake Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients. This position involves handling inbound legal inquiries, conducting initial client screenings, gathering and organizing case information, and accurately entering data into the firm's case management system. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, personable, and able to communicate clearly and compassionately with individuals seeking legal assistance. Strong verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and computer proficiency are essential. Experience with intake platforms, CRM systems, legal case management software, or data analytics tools is a plus.
Responsibilities include:
Answering and responding to prospective client inquiries by phone, email, and online submissions Conducting initial intake interviews and collecting relevant case information Assisting clients with completing SSDI applications and related documentation Entering, updating, and maintaining accurate client data in the firm's database and software platforms Managing intake workflows and helping maintain reporting and data analytics systems Scheduling consultations and coordinating follow-up communications Assisting attorneys and staff with administrative and intake-related tasks Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all client interactions Preferred qualifications: Prior experience in a legal office, medical office, insurance setting, or customer service environment Familiarity with Social Security Disability (SSDI) claims, personal injury law, or case management systems helpful but not required Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Comfortable learning and working with multiple software platforms and technology systems Compensation is commensurate with experience.
