Summer Law Clerk Confidential Washington, DC Job Details Temporary $25.28 - $30.45 an hour 20 hours ago Qualifications Foreign language proficiency Legal discovery Legal memorandum writing Legal motion preparation Document review Full Job Description Summer Law Clerk We are boutique law firm involved in defending complex criminal cases in federal courts in Washington, D.C. and elsewhere. We are interested in a summer law clerk to work on various aspects of these cases, including: reviewing discovery, writing legal memorandum, draft motions and attending meetings and court appearances. We are looking for someone with an interest in this type of work and Spanish language fluency would be an important qualification. Please send us a brief cover letter, a copy of your resume, and a writing sample. The work can be done remotely, but there will be some need to travel and so someone with their own transportation would also be important. We will discuss salary, hours, and the like at the time of making an offer. We have a lot of very interesting work to finish this Summer and need someone who an work independently when necessary.
