Until Filled Summary Digital Discovery clerk of the Taylor County District Attorney's office performs all duties required to request, download, and provide access of all digital discovery to defense attorneys. Additionally, the discovery clerk will assist nine felony prosecutors and four misdemeanor prosecutors in maintaining accurate discovery records and preparing evidence for trial. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receive, download, record and provide defense access to all digital discovery material including videos, body camera footage, dash camera footage, photographs, medical records, phone and computer downloads, and any other digital evidence needed for the prosecution of criminal cases. Communicate with all local law enforcement agencies to ensure discovery materials are timely and accurately provided to the Criminal District Attorney's office for dissemination to defense. Coordinate with prosecutors, defense attorneys, and law enforcement regarding any discovery issues that arise and work toward resolving those issues. Work closely with prosecutors in preparing the digital evidence for trial presentation including redactions of video, formatting digital evidence for presentation and preparing PowerPoints for demonstrative evidence. Maintain & monitor pending and disposed cases and accounts in the portal. Knowledge/Skills/Training Expertise with data entry Knowledge of VegasPro, PowerPoint, Cellebrite, Axiom and various other computer programs. Excellent time management skills, and be detail oriented. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other county employees and officials, law enforcement, attorneys, private businesses and the general public. Must be able to perform duties under high stress, often dealing with multiple tasks.
