Associate Family Law Attorney

We are seeking the perfect match for a superior, strategic, creative Attorney with at least 5 years of prior experience in a family law firm in Texas.

Compensation:

$95,000 - $115,000 yearly + bonus

Responsibilities:

This role in our firm is crucial to caring for clients in both a compassionate and efficient manner and to guiding them through our collaborative, cooperative approach toward a final resolution. The perfect applicant must be able to: Proactively work in conjunction with the production team to ensure efficient client case handling Effectively communicate with clients regarding case strategy, progress, and costs Develop a strategy for achieving the client's goals; craft unique, creative solutions in line with their core values Prioritize, monitor, and facilitate daily workflows for yourself, other members of the production team, and support staff as it pertains to your client's case handling Monitor case dockets, calendar, events, and deadlines; ensure tracking of and adherence to deadlines and timely completion of time-sensitive tasks Advocate for clients in hearings, trials, conferences, and mediations in line with the firm's mission and the client's goals Actively participate in developing and implementing case strategy and litigation plans using collaborative, creative techniques in a manner that supports the client's goals and core values Timely review of client invoices to ensure accuracy, as well as ensure they reflect all case events; accurately record time asynchronously Be open to being mentored and guided regarding continued professional development and growth Participate in marketing activities, including networking opportunities and events, participating in potential client consultations, maintaining contact with former clients and lead sources as requested, and other marketing activities as requested Attend continuing education seminars and workshops to further professional development and maintain CLE status; share resources with the team Comply with all federal, state, county, and local laws, legal standards, codes, and regulations Sustain membership in the area Bar associations and relevant practice groups as requested and approved Comply with the firm's policies and procedures
