What you need to know about this position: As a newly established, progressive and active Hospital Police Department, we are seeking candidates that have the desire and ability to model the 5 elements of ourHospital Police Mission Statement:
Compassion, Respect, Honor, Professionalism and Dedication. Under the direction of the Chief of Police and Director of Emergency Management, the Hospital Police Captain will assist the Chief and/or Assistant Chief of Police in leading, guiding, and directing the operations and staff within the Columbus Regional Hospital Police Department. The Captain will display the code of conduct expressed in the agency mission statement and will strive to improve the overall experience of all patients, visitors, and staff while at the hospital and other properties. The base hourly rate for this position is $32.05. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions. The captain will demonstrate the commitment to the goals of the department when evaluating products, systems, and personnel in an effort to elevate readiness and response capabilities. This position will require you to work 40 hours a week, 6:00am-6:00pm, with a weekend and holiday rotation. What is required for this position: Education and/or Experience High School diploma or General Education (GED) diploma required. Minimum of two (2) years of investigative experience required. Law Enforcement experience preferred. Experience with Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) and access control systems preferred. Leadership experience required.Similar jobs in Columbus, IN
