Job Description

The town of Westwood seeks a Chief of Police to lead a 33-officer, 12-civilian department with a $5.7M budget. Appointed by the Select Board and reporting to the Town Administrator, the Chief oversees all operations, personnel and strategic direction, ensuring professional, ethical, community-focused policing. Westwood (pop. 16,000) is a safe, engaged community with strong public safety support and convenient access to Boston.
Salary:
