Job Description
Huron County Sheriff's Office - Road Patrol The Huron County Sheriff's Office Road Patrol Division operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. These officers are responsible for patrolling the entire county (500 sq miles). Road Patrol deputies' duties include responding to calls for service by the public, drug interdiction, service of summons, subpoenas, warrants, civil protection orders, crash investigations and many other call types. Deputies work a rotating schedule. First shift is 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Second shift is 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Third shift is 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
QUALIFICATIONS
OPOTA Certification High School Graduate/GED Able to pass background check Able to pass credit history check Able to pass a polygraph & psychological exam College degree and bilingual preferred Please fill out our application which is available on www.huroncountysheriff.com or you can stop in the Civil Office to pick one up.
