Special Knowledge/Skills:
Strong leadership and organizational skills Ability to develop and implementprehensive safety plans Effective crisis management and emergency response skills Excellent interpersonal andmunication skills Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders Strong knowledge of school safety regulations, policies, and best practices Proficiency in law enforcement technology, reporting, and data management Commitment to fostering a positive and safe school culture Training and ability to subdue offenders, including use of firearms and handcuffs Bondable as required by TEC §37.081(h) Must be able to respond to emergencies on a 24/7 basis as needed
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, law enforcement, public administration, or a related field (Preferred) Texas Peace Officer license issued by Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) Clear and valid Texas driver's license Successfulpletion of training required by Texas Education Code (TEC) §96.641 and Texas Occupation Code §1701.2633
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of law enforcement experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role Experience in school-based law enforcement ormunity policing is highly preferred
Salary Range:
Salary:
$76,695 to $118,000 Per Year
