Courtesy Officer Iris Property Management Little Rock, AR Job Details Contract 4 days ago Qualifications Outdoor work Conflict management Patrolling Security Full Job Description Job Overview The Courtesy Officer is responsible for providing a visible security presence, assisting with community rule enforcement, and supporting the property management team in maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors at Whisperwood Townhomes. This position is compensated with reduced housing in exchange for on-call availability and security presence on the property. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in law enforcement or security, with the ability to effectively manage conflicts and maintain a secure environment. Duties Conduct routine property patrols, including parking lots, common areas, amenities, and building entrances/exits. Monitor and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or policy violations to property management and/or law enforcement. Respond to noise complaints, disturbances, and emergency situations in a timely and professional manner. Enforce community rules and regulations as directed by property management. Lock and unlock amenities or secured areas at designated times. Assist residents with after-hours concerns (e.g., lock-outs, parking issues). Maintain detailed logs and incident reports of activities, observations, and actions taken. Build positive rapport with residents while promoting a safe and respectful community environment. Qualifications Must reside on property as a lease requirement. Current law enforcement experience is preferred. Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress or emergency situations. Must pass background screening and meet community leasing requirements. Ability to walk/stand for extended periods and patrol in various weather conditions. Compensation Reduced rent. Work Schedule On-call availability for after-hours incidents. Patrol shifts as designated by property management. Must maintain a visible presence on property with a patrol vehicle.
