Job Description

The City of Chandler Police Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Police Records Representative . This is a full-time, non-exempt position with benefits. The Police Records Division is open internally Sunday
  • Saturday 0600-0100 and open to the public Monday
  • Friday 0700-1700 (except holidays).
The Police Records Representative are required to work various schedules which include days, swings, some weekends and holidays. The position is subject to a six (6) month probationary period. Once off of probation, schedules are determined twice per year, each for six (6) months in duration. Why work for Chandler? Minimum qualifications Must possess a High School or GED equivalency. Must have 1-year of previous experience working in a fast-paced environment where customer service, data entry, and administrative work were required; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work. Must successfully obtain and pass the Department of Public Safety Level A Terminal Operator Certification upon being hired. Desired qualifications Candidates who are bilingual in English and Spanish are preferred. Supervision Work is performed under the supervision of a division supervisor or manager. This position does not supervise others. This opportunity is only open to current City of Chandler employees only. A register of qualified candidates will be active for 6 months should another position become available. The City of Chandler will conduct a pre-employment background check as a condition of employment. An offer of employment is contingent upon acceptable results.
