Job Description

Police Officer Lateral Job Type:
Full Time Vail, CO Vail Police Department Salary:
$55.25/hour
Position Summary:
As a member of our team, you will take on the responsibilities of a sworn law enforcement officer, enforcing the laws and ordinances of the State of Colorado and the Town of Vail. You'll play a vital role in ensuring public safety by preventing and investigating criminal activities, responding to emergencies, and maintaining order in one of the most desirable alpine destinations.
Requirements:
P.O.S.T. Certification (out-of-state certifications qualify; must transfer to Colorado upon hire). 60 Credit Hours from an accredited college or university (BA or BS degree preferred). Strong Public Relations, Communication, and Problem-Solving Skills, with a high level of integrity. A clean background, with successful completion of polygraph, psychological evaluation, drug screening, and physical abilities testing. Spanish language skills are a plus!
