Requirements:
Candidate must be 21 years of age or older on date of appointment, Have no criminal record, Be a high school graduate or equivalent. Candidate must possess and maintain as a condition of employment a valid motor vehicle operator's license and an excellent driving record. Interested persons must have completed the written examination process with the CPCA (Connecticut Chiefs of Police Association) within the past year to be considered. Applicants must have a valid CHIP card or be prepared to participate in a Cooper standard agility assessment which requires completion of a medical clearance form that can be downloaded from this page.
