The Antioch Police Department is authorized for 32 sworn Officers, plus support staff. The Antioch Police Department participates in ILEAS, NIPAS, Lake County Major Crimes Task Force, Lake County Metropolitan Enforcement Group (MEG) and Lake County Major Crash Assistance Team (MCAT).Village Information:
The Village of Antioch (population 14,430) is a middle-class community consisting of approximately nine square miles located halfway between Chicago and Milwaukee. Applicants for lateral appointment to the position of Police Officer must meet the following minimum qualifications and requirements at the time of application: At least two years of full-time law enforcement work, including but not limited to, police officer experience and/or military police work. State of Illinois Police Officer certification or waiver by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board Individual must be at least 23 years of age.
