POLICE OFFICERS WANTED!

!! Latitude Apartments is looking for a Courtesey Officer to move in ASAP!

Requirements:

Must live on-site in assigned unit. The Company reserves the right to relocate you to other accommodations within the property at the Company's sole discretion. Must meet resident approval and employee approval processes, including pre-employment substance abuse screening, criminal, background, and reference checks. Must sign and abide by Housing Contract and Employee Housing Addendum . Must abide by Company policies and procedures, available on our Company intranet and in hard copy (including but not limited to the Employee Handbook and Policy Manual). Must be employed by the local police or Sheriff office Must work the required number of hours each week, including weekends.

NUMBER OF HOURS REQUIRED TO WORK EACH WEEK AT THIS LOCATION IS HOURS.

Must carry auto liability insurance coverage on any vehicle used to conduct business.

Compensation:

Your total compensation includes the provision of accommodations on the property equal to a value of a monthly Rent concession Please be aware that from time to time, the Company may, in its sole discretion, increase or reduce your compensation or change the terms on which it is payable in compliance with the law. The Courtesy Officer must work the required number of hours each week based upon the following compensation calculation.

Time Requirements:

You must schedule time off with Manager's approval. You must work the required number of hours each week (which is outlined under our requirements section). You may be required to work additional hours as requested by the Manager during busy time periods, such as Move-In, and during holiday closures. Because this is a part-time position, holiday, sick, and vacation days are not paid.

Employment:

This document does not create an employment agreement or contract for a specified or definite term or period. Your employment is at-will, which means that it is not guaranteed for any particular length of time and your employment may be ended with or without cause and without or without notice, for any reason or for no reason at any time. Courtesy Officer positions may be terminated at any time for unsatisfactory performance. If employment is not maintained, continuation of the lease is based upon the Employee Housing Addendum.

Duties:

Includes, but is not limited to, the following: A. Conduct walking patrols of property periodically (usually in the evenings). B. Conduct driving patrols of property periodically (usually in the evenings). C. Be present and visible in the community, and make prescribed number of rounds per day. D. Respond to all calls pertaining to loud noise disturbances, lock-outs, and suspicious people on the property. Please write up an Incident Report immediately following every situation you are called on and respond to. E. Lock up the pool at night during pool season F. Assist the Management in enforcing the Community Policies and all facility rules. G. Perform a nightly light and premises equipment check. H. Live onsite at Latitide Apartments- Champaign IL Courtesy Officers must maintain a professional demeanor at all time and are not permitted to use force with a resident or to arrest a resident unless acting as a Police Officer outside of the scope of responsibilities of this position. Courtesy Officers must call the police if residents refuse tocooperate or create a dangerous situation.
