$26.00/hour Full-time Officer - Works 8.5-hour shift 1430 - 2300 Part-time Officer - Shifts are every Saturday and Sunday from 0700 to 1500, plus intermittent
M-F 0700
to 1500, to fill in for time off or training days. ($26/hour) In addition to the officer's regular shifts, every month we have Special Detail duties available at a rate of $40.46/hour

IMMEDIATE OPENINGS
The Village of Prairie Grove, McHenry County, Illinois (Pop. 2,000), is seeking applicants for Full-Time and Part-Time Officers. This is a great community for the recently retired officer or those wanting a slower-paced law enforcement position.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Twenty-one years of age or older. Possession of a valid driver's license. A certified law enforcement officer in the State of Illinois. Must hold a valid Firearms Owners Identification card. (Illinois residents) Must not have been convicted of a felony or certain misdemeanors, as defined by statute. Ability to work weekends and holidays. Must participate in and complete all stages of the hiring process, which may include but are not limited to: oral interview extensive background investigation post-offer physical/drug/psychological test Qualified individuals are to furnish a letter of interest and a resume.
